I have lived a blessed life in which I have had the great pleasure of knowing both beautiful people and places. One such place was Ketchikan. This beach was at the end of my driveway. Lucky me.

So...I was thinking the other day that I wanted one of those big inspiration boards with clippings and musings of gorgeous beauties that inspire me and make me laugh and smile and remember whats good. Rooms and recipes, people and color, words and notes.
So, true to the nature of a blog, I thought, wow, people probably will find what I find funny and fascinating, equally funny and fascinating. People will think, "Gosh, that Katy...mmm! She's got style! And boy is she funny!" And of course as a blog fulfills my deep desire for people to find me and mine devastatingly interesting, I thought I'd give it a go. Plus, maybe as I compile all these meanderings I will see a pattern and it will all make great great sense. So....
